Slow time down. Don't move fast, slow time instead. Slow your
mind so that each moment takes forever.
Focus on the moment, be sensitive to its nuances, immerse
yourself in it, focus on each breath as it goes in and out.
Focus on your breath instead of what you are doing, and your
inner mind will take care of what you are try to do.
Focus your outer mind on slowing down time and then you will see
your inner mind speed up.
I prefer the terms inner and outer mind to to Tim Gallwey's terms
self 2 and self 1 (The Inner Game of Tennis). Self 2 and self 1
sound so numerical, so sequential, logical; they sound like
poorly chosen variable names in hurriedly written object-oriented
code.
